Sanctuaries

These compositions of birds and plants focus on renewal and the simple beauty of everyday life. The lovely polka-dots on a begonia, the gentle roundness of a baby robin, the opera pink of a flower just opening. Working in layers, I’m drawn to bold, often complementary colors, interesting textures, and playful patterns. My aim is to evoke a feeling of joy, connection, and comfort—a sanctuary from the world outside.
